Collinsville Bible Church

Small Groups - Sundays 5:00 PM

Bible Study for Everyone

Sunday evenings are a time for us to get more in-depth and personal with the Word of God and our brothers and sisters in Christ. Meeting in various homes, we all go through the same bible study together, whether a book of the Bible or a topical study with the help of a study aid. Contact us if you would like to join one of the groups on a Sunday Evening.

Ministry Schedule

Sunday School - Sundays 9:30 AM

Adult Discipleship Hour challenges mature individuals to study the Word of God so that they may grow in their faith and teach others as well

For Children's Sunday School, our young children are being introduced to the Bible times of Adam and Eve, Noah, Daniel and the Lions Den, and the times of Jesus. And many more lessons from God’s Word!

We focus on a particular story for the day, and what happened, and what God did for the people at the time. Then we bring it to their level, and teach how this can help them learn more about God and how children can love him, and please him with their lives, actions, and love for others!

We also have coloring papers, along with crafts, and games to keep them moving, as little ones like to move a lot, and can get excited!

Morning Worship - Sundays 10:30 AM

Hymns Modern and Ancient

We sing hymns from all of church history, from the earliest centuries of the church to the modern hymns of today. Using words on the screen and hymnbooks in our hands, we sing songs from Isaac Watts, Fanny Crosby, and Keith Getty to name a few. Simple accompaniments with piano, cajon, and guitar support congregational singing.

The Word of God Preached

God's Word is our authority. Because of that, we spend over half of our Sunday Morning worship under its teaching. Using the King James Version with support from other modern English versions, Pastor Eric or Elder Stephen preaches the Bible for 30-45 minutes.

Children's Church

We love having our 3 to 6 year old children in our morning Worship Service to join the congregation in singing and announcements, while also being able to offer a Junior Church class geared for their age during the morning message.

During this time we enjoy more singing of children’s Bible songs, and reviewing what we have learned in Sunday School. There is most always coloring involved, and a craft and some play time! With more stories of how even as a small person they can show the love of Jesus!

Prayer Meeting - Last Wednesday of the month 7:00 PM

Praying Together

We gather together at our church building at least once a month to devote ourselves to prayer for our assembly, for our community, for our government leaders, for the global church, for the persecuted church, and for the gospel advance to every people and tribe and nation.
